DESCRIPTION:
The 'ETI-FH' Packer is a retrievable packer set by either the hydrostatic head of the well, tubing pressure, or both.
The ‘ETI-FHL’ Packer is a large bore version of the ‘ETI-FH’ Packer. Applications, features and operational procedures are basically the same as those of the ‘ETI-FH’.
APPLICATIONS:
The 'ETI-FH' Packer can be run in single-packer installations, as the lower packer in multiple string hookups using hydrostatic or hydraulic dual packers or in tandem in single string, multiple zone, selective production wells.
It is also used when displacing and setting after the well is flanged up is desirable.
The 'ETI-FH' is ideal for deviated or crooked holes where conditions are not suitable for mechanically set packers.
FEATURES:
- No tubing manipulation required.
- Operational to hydrostatic pressures of 12,000 to 15,000 psi.
- Can be set by tubing pressure alone at any depth.
- Initial setting pressure is mechanically locked into the packing
elements.
- Multiple packing element system.
- No mandrel movement after setting. The 'ETI-FH’ can be placed in
compression, neutral, or tension.
- Simple upstrain shear release or optional rotational release.
- Equivalent to and parts interchangeable with Baker Product Numbers 781-08 and 781-20.
